- When the two 8520 are ok (were they changed with the board?), try the
- buffer fix for the 2000B (rev.4 - rev.6.0):
-
- a) remove RP900 and RP901 with no replacement
- b) add 2 resistor networks to U603 and U604 (pullup):
- EITHER 9x3.3 KOhm (10-pin): pin 1 network -> pin 10 IC,
- pin 2-10 network -> pin 9-1 IC
- OR 8x3.3 KOhm (9-pin): pin 1 network -> pin 10 IC
- pin 2-9 network -> pin 9-2 IC
- c) EITHER replace 3.3 KOhm resistor networks RP903 and RP908 (pullup)
- by 1 KOhm networks
- OR connect Pin 36 of U800 via resistor 1KOhm with +5V
- d) only for 2000B with board revision 4 - 4.4:
- add resistor 3.3KOhm (or a bit smaller) between pin 11 and pin 20
- of U605 (this step is also the rework from rev.4.4 to rev.4.5)
-
- Hope that helps
